This folder contains Lloyd Day's scrapbook covering the period 1894-1924 (bulk 1895-1901). In it are newspaper clippings about Day and his father John W. Day, his brother Charles Omer Day, Charles' daughter Betty Moorman, Mrs. A. T. Henry Sr., and clippings of national events including the death of President McKinley, plus other clippings regarding Boulder. The folder also contains printed materials, photographs and memorabilia, most of which relate to Lloyd Day and/or Boulder. The front of the volume is inscribed "L.S. Day./Gertrude Chambers, Grace Schlegel, Lu Allgive./ July 21st '97."

Lloyd S. Day was the son of John W. Day, Jr. and Lizzie (Elizabeth) Day. He married Beulah G. Henry, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. A. T. Henry; she was known as Veva H. Day. Lloyd, a Boulder native, followed his father, John, into the insurance business.
